I developed this wheelchair ramp as part of my GCSE product design coursework. The concept evolved while I was on a wheelchair and I was feeling my accessiblity being restricted to get to many places. During my coursework project for developing this wheelchair ramp, I got introduced to numerous machines such as the pillar drill, bandsaw, belt sander and countless handheld tools. I also used a laser cutter for the first time to make the stickers on acrylic that can be seen on the ramp.
